The first picture is Logan and Pop Pop the next is Logan and Izzy.

Christmas
This Christmas was great for our family. Christmas Eve was met with the news that we had an offer on our house on Demetroplis Road. This is great and crazy. We now have to make sure our empty rental house is renovated so we can move because the people buying our house wants to take possession on January 8th. Which is a crazy time in itself, because Doug is leaving for a week on January 8th, I have a marathon on January 14, I start back to graduate school on January 10th---all the while, I have to make sure one house is pack, another house is ready for move in day, and I have trained properly for the marathon.
Of course during all this madness, I have to make sure that Logan and Izzy are okay with all the changes by making sure they have everything they need.
It is a crazy time.
The one thing that I can say is great is that I have two wonderful children and Doug and I have been given opportunities we could have never imagined possible for ourselves.

You would think that the holiday seasons would keep a family busy; however, it is obviously not busy enough for my family. We have decided to build a new house in West Mobile (practically Mississippi). While we are building we are going to sell one or all of our four houses.---That is not all. Doug is working with a friend of mine and they just bought a house last week. They will be working on renovations to try and put on the market by January 7th. In the mean time Doug has to renovate at least three of our homes so they will be ready for to be put on the market.

1702 Gill Road (DIP area) 2/1 $60,000
4613 Emerald Drive (Tillman's corner area) 3/2 $105,000
1613 Northview (Moffett road area) 3/1 $65,000
2967 Demetropolis Road 3/2 $135,000
1875 Sandy Creek Drive (Pondarosa) 4/2 $135,000

Logan and Izzy are doing great. They are getting bigger every day. Logan is getting smarter every minute, saying things we didn't even know he knew.

Work is going great for me.
I had lost a lot of weight and have gained back five pounds--it is killing me.
I ran a 1/2 marathon this weekend and had a horrible time, but am glad I did it.
I started working out with my personal trainer again and I love it. He will kick your butt into shape without you even knowing it.

Medicare Part D
It does not matter if you are Republican, Democrat or Independent--the Medicare Part D program is a joke and anyone in Congress who voted for it is either receiving a kick back or can't read.
First--Medicare Part D is a "federal" program which is funded through individual state Medicaid dollars. If you have wondered why your state Medicaid program is cutting and dropping so many individuals, it is because 90% of the funds for the Medicare Part D plan is paid for by state funding. If the states could have afforded to provide prescription coverage, they would have already done that. Instead our federal government takes claim to this wonderful program which provides Needed prescription coverage to the elderly and disabled, but they provide very little of its funding.
If you are wondering why this is important, it is important because the state is now spending their Medicaid dollars on all those recipients who had Medicaid, but are also now having to fund the Medicare Part D plan.
The Medicare Part D plan is one that should have never been introduced nor passed. If you really want a good prescription coverage plan for the elderly and disabled, have a Medicare prescription plan that is provided by Medicare, not outside agencies.
Medicare provides services to all their insured for less than 10% of their funded where the HMO Medicare programs charge more than 15%. They are supposed to give patients a choice, but they do not.

I will write more later, but I am getting angry.
